How to knit Fancy Stitch:

Multiple of 14 + 2 edge sts.

Cast on 16 sts and work according to the chart.

The chart shows RS rows and WS rows.

The pat rep = 14 sts wide. 

Repeat patt between edge stitches throughout.

slip wyif: slip 1 pwise, leave yarn at front of work

1/3 Right Cross: slip 3 sts to cn, hold to back, K1, K3 from cn

1/3 Left Cross: slip 1 st to cn, hold to front, K3, K1 from cn

Row 1: knit all sts.

Row 2: edge st, * p3, slip wyif, p6, slip wyif, p3, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 3: edge st, * k3, 1/3 Left Cross, 1/3 Right Cross, k3, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 4: edge st, * p2, slip wyif, p8, slip wyif, p2, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 5: edge st, * k2, 1/3 Left Cross, k2, 1/3 Right Cross, k2, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 6: edge st, * p1, slip wyif, p10, slip wyif, p1, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 7: edge st, * k1, 1/3 Left Cross, k4, 1/3 Right Cross, k1, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 8: edge st, * slip wyif, p12, slip wyif, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 9: edge st, * 1/3 Left Cross, k6, 1/3 Right Cross, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 10: purl all sts.
