How to knit Fancy Stitch:

Multiple of 7 + 2 + 2 edge sts.

Cast on 18 sts (7 + 7 + 2 + 2 edge sts) and work according to сhart.

RS row and WS row are shown.

Read RS row from right to left, WS row from left to right.

The pat rep = 7 sts wide.

Row 1: edge st, * k2, p2, make 1 yarn over, pass 1 stitch over on the right needle purlwise, p2, repeat from * to the last 3 sts, k2, edge st.

Row 2: edge st, p2, * k2, make 1 yarn over, pass 1 st with yo together on the right needle purlwise, k2, p2, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 3: edge st, * k2, p2, make 1 yarn over, pass 1 st with 2yo's together on the right needle purlwise, p2, repeat from * to the last 3 sts, k2, edge st.

Row 4: edge st, p2, * k2, p4tog (= purl 4 stitches together), k2, p2, repeat from *, edge st.

Repeat rows 1-4 throughout.
