How to knit Fancy Stitch:

Multiple of 18 + 3 + 2 edge sts.

Cast on 23 sts (1 + 18 + 2 + 2 edge sts) and work according to сhart.

RS row and WS row are shown.

Read RS row from right to left, WS row from left to right.

The pat rep = 18 sts wide.

Row 1: edge st, p1, * slip wyib (= slip 1 pwise, leave yarn at back of work), p2, k4tog (= knit 4 stitches together), (yo, k1) 5 times, yo, k4tog tbl (= knit 4 together through back loop), p2, repeat from * to last 3 sts, slip wyib, p1, edge st.

Rows 2 and 4: edge st, k1, p1, * k2, p13, k2, p1, repeat from * to last 2 sts, k1, edge st.

Row 3: edge st, p1, * slip wyib, p2, k13, p2, repeat from * to last 3 sts, slip wyib, p1, edge st.

Repeat rows 1-4 throughout.
