Fancy Knitting Pattern with long loop

How to knit Fancy Stitch with long loop:

Multiple of 5 + 1 + 2 edge sts. 

Cast on 13 stitches (5 + 5 + 1 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.

RS rows and WS rows are shown.

Read RS rows from right to left, WS rows from left to right.

The pat rep = 5 sts wide.

slip wyib: slip 1 pwise, leave yarn at back of work

slip wyif: slip 1 pwise, leave yarn at front of work

yo2x: 2 yarn overs

Row 1: edge st, * yo2x, p2, k2, p1, repeat from * to the 2 sts, p1, edge st.

Rows 2 and 4: edge st, k1, * k1, p2, k2, slip wyif, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 3: edge st, * slip wyib, p2, k2, p1, repeat from * to the 2 sts, p1, edge st.

Row 5: edge st, p1, * p1, k1, slip st to right needle, pick up long loop, place back 1 st to left needle and knit 2 sts together, p2, yo2x, repeat from *, edge st.

Rows 6 and 8: edge st, * slip wyif, k2, p2, k1, repeat from * to the 2 sts, k1, edge st.

Row 7: edge st, p1, * p1, k2, p2, slip wyib, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 9: edge st, * yo2x, p2, slip 1st st to right needle, transpose the order of the 3 sts and loop on the left needle, place back 1st st to left needle and knit 2 sts together, k1, p1, repeat from * to the 2 sts, p1, edge st.

Work rows 1-9 once, then repeat rows 2-9 throughout.
