Easy Knitting Stitch Pattern for Beginners

How to knit Easy Stitch:

Work with multiple of 18 sts + 5 + 2 edge sts.

Cast on 25 (18 + 5 + 2 edge) sts and work according to сhart.

The chart shows only Right Side rows.

On Wrong Side rows, work all sts as they appear.

The patt rep = 18 sts wide.

Begin with 1 edge st, work patt rep throughout, end with 5 st after patt rep and 1 edge st.

Rows 1 and 3: knit all stitches.

Row 2 and all even-numbered rows: work each stitch as it appears on this side of work (k the k sts and p the p sts).

Rows 5, 7 and 9: edge st, * k9, p5, k4, repeat from * to last 6 sts, k5, edge st.

Rows 11, 13 and 15: knit all stitches.

Rows 17, 19 and 21: edge st, * p5, k13, repeat from * to last 6 sts, p5, edge st.

Row 23: knit all stitches.

Repeat Rows 1-24 throughout.
