How to knit Diamond Stitch:
Multiple of 6 sts + 4 + 2 selvage sts.
Cast on 24 stitches and work according to chart.
Only RS rows are shown.
On WS rows, work all sts as they appear.
The pat rep = 6 sts.
Rows 1-8: Begin with 1 selv st and st before patt, work patt rep throughout, end with 3 sts after patt rep and 1 selv st.
Rows 9-14: Begin with 1 selv stitch, work patt rep throughout, end with 4 sts after patt and 1 selv st.
Work rows 1-14 once, then repeat rows 3-14 throughout.
