How to knit Diagonal Star Knitting Pattern:
Multiple of 4 + 1 + 2 selvage sts.
Cast on 15 (12 + 1 + 2) stitches and work according to chart.
RS rows and WS rows are shown.
The pat rep = 4 sts wide.
Row 1: slv st (edge), * K3tog through the back loop, work 1 yo without slipping the st from the needle, again K3tog through the back loop, slip sts from needle, then K1, repeat from *, end with K1 and slv st.
Row 2: work all sts purl.
Row 3: slv st (edge), K1, * K1, K3tog through the back loop, work 1 yo without slipping the st from the needle, again K3tog through the back loop, slip sts from needle, repeat from *, end with slv st.
Row 4: work all sts purl.
Repeat rows 1-4 throughout.
