Cast on 22 sts and work according to сhart.

RS rows and WS rows are shown.

Read RS rows from right to left, WS rows from left to right.

The pat rep = 8 sts.

Rows 1-6: begin with 1 selv st and 4 sts before patt rep, work patt rep throughout, with 1 selv st.

Rows 7-12: begin with 1 selv st, work patt rep throughout, end with 4 sts after patt and 1 selv st.

Row 1: selvage st, p4, k4, p4, k4, p4, selvage st

Row 2: selvage st, k1, p2, k1, p4, k1, p2, k1, p4, k1, p2, k1, selvage st

Row 3: work as for Row 1.

Row 4: work as for Row 2.

Row 5: work as for Row 1.

Row 6: work as for Row 2.

Row 7: selvage st, k4, p4, k4, p4, k4, selvage st
