Checker Stitch Knitting Pattern

How to knit Checker Stitch:

Work with a multiple of 18 stitches + 2 + 2 edge sts.

Cast on 22 sts (18 + 2 + 2 edge sts) and work according to сhart.

The chart shows only Right Side Rows.

On Wrong Side Rows, purl all sts and yo’s.

The patt rep = 18 sts wide.

Begin with 1 edge st, work patt repeat throughout, end with 2 sts after patt rep and 1 edge st.

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together

slip wyib: slip 1 pwise, leave yarn at back of work
