How to knit Bell Lace Stitch:

Multiple of 10 + 7 + 2 selvage sts.

Cast on 19 sts (1 + 10 + 6 + 2 selv sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows only RS rows.

On WS rows, work sts as they appear; work yo’s Purl.

The pat rep = 10 sts wide.

cdd (Central Double Decrease): slip first and second stitches together as if to knit, knit 1 stitch, pass two slipped stitches over the knit stitch

Rows 1, 3, 5 and 7: edge st, k1, yo (yarn over), * k1, cdd, k1, yo, k1, p3, k1, yo, repeat from * to the last 7 sts, k1, cdd, k1, yo, k1, edge st.

Row 2 and all even-numbered rows: work each stitch as it appears on this side of work (k the K sts and p the P sts), work yos P.

Rows 9, 11, 13 and 15: edge st, k2, * p3, k1, yo, k1, cdd, k1, yo, k1, repeat from * to the last 6 sts, p3, k2, edge st.

Repeat Rows 1-16 throughout.
