V-Neck Pullover with Lace Pattern
Size: 14 (US 10).
Materials:
Yarn: 300 g (40% Wool, 40% Acrylic, 20% Bamboo, yardage = 170 m/50 g); one circular needle size 3 mm (US 2.5).
Stockinette stitch (St st): K on RS rows, P on WS rows.
Rib Pattern: alt K1, P1.
Lace Pattern:
Work according to chart. Only RS rows are shown.
On WS rows work all sts as they appear, purl yos.
Repeat Rows 1-38 throughout.
Back:
Cast on 80 sts and work 6 cm in Rib Patt.
Cont in St st.
Armhole Shaping: When piece measures 41 cm from beg, at each end bind off 4 sts once, 2 sts once, 1 st 4 times on every 2nd row.
When piece measures 57 cm from beg, bind off rem sts for shoulders.
Front:
Cast on 80 sts and work 6 cm in Rib Patt.
Cont in St st, work center 19 sts in Lace Pattern.
Armhole Shaping: When piece measures 41 cm from beg, at each end bind off 4 sts once, 2 sts once, 1 st 4 times on every 2nd row.
At the same time, for V-neckline, divide work at middle and complete each side separately.
Neck Slants: At inside edge bind off 1 st 30 times on every 2nd row.
When piece measures 57 cm from beg, bind off rem sts for shoulders.
Sleeves:
Close shoulder seams.
On either side of shoulder seam pick up 8 sts from armhole selvage sts and work in Lace Pattern beg from 10th to 17th st on Row 33 of chart.
Cap Shaping: At the end of each row, create 1 st from armhole selvage st, working inc sts into Lace Pattern and then into St st..
In places rounding at the end of each row, on either side inc 4 sts once, 2 sts twice, then work lower piece of the sleeve.
For sleeve narrowing, bind off 1 st 10 times at each end on every 8th row.
When piece measures 38 cm from underarm, work in Rib Pattern.
When piece measures 44 cm from underarm, bind off all sts.
Finishing:
Neckline Band: Pick up sts along neckline edge and work in Rib Patt. Work s2kpo (= sl 2 tog kwise, K1, pass two slipped stitches over) in the middle of front throughout.
Cont until band meas 4 cm. Bind off all sts.
Sew side and sleeve seams.
