V-Neck Jacket

Materials:

Yarn: 600-700 g (50% Wool, 50% Acrilic, yardage = 280 m / 100 g); 1 pair quick knit needles size 4 mm (US 6).

Rib Patt: alt K2, P2.

Basic pattern:

Work according to chart. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows, work all sts and yos P.

Repeat Rows 1-8 throughout.

Back:

Cast on 77 sts and work in Basic Patt. Beg with sts A, end with sts B.

Armhole Shaping: When piece measures 50 cm from beg, bind off 3 sts once at each end, then 2 sts once and 1 st once on every 2nd row.

Cont even.

When piece measures 70 cm from beg, bind off rem sts.

Right Front:

Cast on 59 sts and work in Basic Patt. Beg with sts C.

Armhole Shaping: When piece measures 50 cm from beg, bind off on left end 3 sts once, then 2 sts twice and 1 st 17 times on every 2nd row (neckline is shaped due to decreasing sts for armhole).

When piece measures 70 cm from beg, bind off rem sts.

Left Front: Work in reverse.

Sleeves:

Cast on 40 sts and work in Rib Patt.

When piece measures 5 cm from beg, cont in Basic Patt.

Sleeve Shaping: Inc 1 st of St st each side every 6th row.

Cap Shaping: When piece measures 43 cm from cast on, at both ends bind off 3 sts once, 2 sts once, 1 st 10 times, 2 sts 3 times.

When piece measures 55 cm from beg, bind off rem sts.

Finishing:

Close shoulder seams.

Sew side and sleeve seams. Set in sleeves.
