Tunic with Fancy Pattern
Size: 10 (US 8).
Materials:
200 g Nako Mohair Delicate (40% Mohair, 60% Acrylic, 500 m per 100 g ball); one pair knit needles and one circular needle, both size 3,5 mm (US 4) and crochet hook size 3 mm (US C).
Rib Pattern: K1, P1 Rib.
Lace Pattern:
Work according to chart 1. Only RS rows are shown.
On WS rows work all sts as they appear, purl yos.
Rep rows 1-10 throughout.
Fancy pattern:
Work acc to chart 2. Only RS rows are shown.
On WS rows work all sts as they appear, purl yos.
Work rows 1 - 38 once, then rep rows 7 - 38 throughout.
Flower: Work according to crochet chart.
Gauge:
in Fancy Pattern: 17 sts and 24 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Back:
Cast on 97 sts and work 98 rows as foll: selv st, P2, * 11 sts in Lace Patt, P5, rep from * 4 times, 11 sts in Lace Patt, P2, selv st.
Side Shaping: On Row 41 from beg, dec 1 stitch in each purl ridge stripe, then 1 stitch every 30th row in each purl ridge stripe, 1 stitch every 20th row in each purl ridge stripe.
Next, work 6 rows in Rib Patt and 16 rows in Fancy Patt.
Armhole Shaping: On Row 121 from beg, bind off 5 sts at each end, then 2 sts every other row once, 1 stitch 4 times = 60 sts.
On Row 163 from beg, bind off all sts.
Front:
Work like back, but with deeper neckline.
Neckline Shaping: On Row 133 from beg, bind off center 20 sts and 1 stitch every other row 5 times at both neck edges.
On Row 163 from beg, bind off rem 15 sts each side for shoulders.
Sleeves:
Cast on 56 sts and work 8 rows in Rib Patt.
Then work 6 rows in Fancy pattern.
Cap Shaping: On Row 15 from beg, bind off 4 sts at each end, then 1 stitch every 3rd row 6 times, 2 sts every other row twice, 3 sts twice, 2 sts twice.
On Row 46 from beg, bind off rem 8 sts.
Finishing:
Join shoulder and side seams.
Sew sleeve seams and set in sleeves.
Neck Band: With RS facing and circular needle, pick up 92 sts evenly around neck edge and work 15 rows in Rib Pat.
Leave stitches open.
Fold neckband in half to WS and sew in place.
Work 10 flowers and sew in place using photo as guide.
Cord: Make a crochet chain 150 cm long and pass through openings under Rib Patt.
