Tunic In Lace Pattern

Sizes: M-L

Materials:

Yarn: 350 g (100% Soybean, yardage = 125 m/50 g); 1 pair quick knit needles size 3.5 mm (US 4), crochet hook size 3 mm (US C).

Lace Pattern: Multiple of 13 + 4 + 2 selv sts.

Work according to chart 1. RS and WS rows are shown.

Repeat Rows 1-4 throughout.

Back:

Cast on 97 sts and work in Lace Patt acc to chart 1.

Armhole Shaping: When piece measures 37 cm from cast on, bind off 5 sts once, 3 sts once, 2 sts once, 1 st once. 

Cont until armhole meas 22 cm. Bind off all sts.

Front:

Work like back, but with neckline. 

When piece measures 46 cm from cast on, bind off center 9 sts and complete both sides separately.

For rounding at inside edge bind off 1 st 12 times on every 2nd row. 

When piece measures 59 cm from beg, bind off all sts.

Sleeve:

Cast on 47 sts and work in Lace Pattern.

For sleeve slant, inc 1 st at each end on every 6th row = 61 sts.

Cap Shaping: When work meas 22 cm from beg, bind off 5 sts once, 3 sts once, 2 sts once, 1 st 12 times, 2 sts once, 3 sts once and rem 7 sts once.

Finishing:

Sew shoulder seams.

Sew side and sleeve seams. Set in sleeves.

With crochet hook, work around neckline as foll: 

Rnd 1: single crochet (sc);

Rnd 2: * sc, ch 1; rep from *. 

Rnd 3: * 3 sc, 1 picot *; rep from *.

Edging: Multiple of 2 + 2 selv sts.

Cast on 14 sts and work acc to chart 2.

When piece measures 45 cm (= width), bind off all sts. 

Sew to bottom edge.
