Sleeveless Sweater with Cable Pattern

Size: 10/12 (US 8/10).

Materials:

Yarn: 500 g (50% Wool, 50% Acrylic, yardage = 255 m/100 g); one pair quick knit needles and one circular needle, both size 3 mm (US 2,5).

Rev St st (Reverse stocking stitch): work RS rows P and WS rows K.

Rib Pattern: *K2, P2, repeat from * throughout.

Cable Pattern:

Work according to chart. Only Right Side rows are shown.

On WS rows, work all sts as they appear. 

Begin with 1 edge st and sts before patt, repeat patt, end with sts after patt and 1 edge st.

Seed Stitch:

Row 1: * K1, P1; repeat from * throughout.

Row 2: * P1, K1, repeat from * throughout.

Repeat these 2 rows throughout.

Gauges:

over rev st st: 20 sts and 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back: 

Cast on 154 sts and work 110 rows in Cable Pattern. 

For the Neck Shaping, on Row 111 from beg, bind off center 54 sts and complete both sides separately.

On Row 115 from beg, bind off all sts. 

Front: Work same as back.

Finishing:

Close shoulder seams. 

Pick up 140 sts along the side edges and work 10 rows in Seed Stitch and 3 rows in Rib Pattern.

On Row 14 from beg, bind off all sts.

For the Neck Band: Pick up 100 sts evenly around neck edge and work 50 rows in Rib Pattern.

On Row 51 from pick up, bind off all sts.

Sew side seams 15 cm high from lower edge.

Pick up 220 sts evenly around lower edge and work 10 rows in Rib Pattern.

On Row 11 from pick up, bind off all sts.
