Short Sleeve Pullover in Fancy Pattern

Size: M

Materials:

3 hanks of yarn (100% Mercerized Cotton, 500 m per hank); one pair quick knit needles size 5.5 mm (US 9).  

Stocking stitch (St st): work RS rows K and WS rows P.

Reverse garter st (rev gst): purl every row.

Gauge: 

over St st: 18 sts and 23 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Fancy Pattern:

Work according to chart.

Back:

Cast on 67 sts and work 4 rows P (2 rev gst ribs). 

Continue in Fancy Patt.

When piece measures 40 cm from cast on, for armhole shaping, inc 8 sts once at each end.

After 19 cm from beg of armhole, work 4 rows in rev gst. For neckline, bind off center 43 sts and complete both sides separately. Then work 2 more rows in rev gst. 

Then bind off all sts.

Front: Work same as back.

Sleeves:

Cast on 54 sts and work 4 rows in rev gst. 

Cont in St st. At each end, inc 1 st twice on every 12th row. 

When work measures 15 cm from cast on, bind off all sts. 

Rep for other sleeve.

Finishing:

Sew shoulder and side seams.

Sew sleeve seams and set in sleeves.
