Round Yoke Pullover

Sizes: 8/10 (US 6/8)

Materials:

Yarn: 400 g (100% Acrylic, 400 m per 100 g ball); one pair quick knit needles and one circular needle, both size 2,75 mm (US 2), auxiliary needles or stitch holders.

Stocking stitch (St st): work RS rows K and WS rows P.

Herringbone Pattern: 

Work according to chart 1. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows work all sts as they appear, purl yos.

Work Rows 1 - 22 once.

Lace Pattern for yoke in rnd: 

Work according to chart 2. The chart shows all rows, read all rows from right to left.

Work Rnds 1 - 78 once.

Eyelet Pattern:

Rows 1, 3, 5 and 7: work in St st. 

Row 4: *K2tog, yo1, rep from * throughout.

Rows 6 and 8: Purl.

Gauge:

over St st: 30 sts and 31 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back: 

Cast on 122 sts and work 8 rows in Eyelet Patt, then cont 18 rows in Herringbone Patt. 

Rows 27 - 112: cont in Herringbone Pattern, repeating rows 19 - 20 of chart throughout.  

Slip back sts on stitch holder. 

Front: Work same as back.

Right Sleeve: 

Cast on 62 sts and work 8 rows in Eyelet Patt, then cont 18 rows in Herringbone Patt. 

Rows 27 - 130: cont in Herringbone Pattern, repeating rows 19 - 20 of chart throughout.  

Sleeve Shaping: On Row 28 from beg, inc 1 st at each side, then inc 1 st 9 times on every 6th row = 82 sts.  

Slip sleeve sts on stitch holder.

Repeat for other sleeve.

Finishing:

Yoke: 

Place the sts on holder to circular needle and work 78 rnds in Lace Patt for yoke. 

From Row 79 from beg, work 8 rows in Eyelet Patt, on Row 87 from beg yoke, bind off all sts.

Sew sleeve seams. 

Fold lower edge and neck edge to wrong side and sew in place.
