Round Yoke Lace Top

Size: 8/10 (US 6/8)

Materials: 

Yarn: 250 g (95% viscose, 5% lycra, 250 m per 50 g ball), one pair knit needles and one circular knitting needle, both size 2 mm (US 0), crochet hook size 2 mm (US B). 

Lace Pattern 1: 

Work according to chart. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows work all sts and yos P.

Beg with 1 selv st, rep patt, end with stitch after patt and 1 selv st.

Repeat Rows 1-16 thoughout.

Lace Pattern 2: 

Work according to chart. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows work all sts and yos P.

Beg with 1 selv st, rep patt, end with stitch after patt and 1 selv st.

Repeat Rows 1-8 thoughout.

Gauge: 

in lace pattern 2: 25 sts and 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Front: 

Cast on 100 sts and work WS row alternating K1, P1. 

Continue in Lace Pattern 1.

When piece measures 7 cm from beg, cont in Lace Pattern 2. 

Armhole Shaping: When piece measures 30 cm (= 9 reps tall) from beg, bind off 6 sts at each end, then dec 1 stitch every rows at each end = 1 patt rep dec'd. 

Neck Shaping: bind off the center 22 sts and complete both sides separately. 

Bind off 2 sts every row for inner rounding and cont to dec 1 stitch every rows at each end until all sts are dec'd. 

Complete to match first side of neck, reversing all shaping.

Back: Work same as front.

Yoke: 

With circular needle, cast on 200 sts (= 20 patt rep) and join for working in rnds.

Work in Lace Pattern 1 in rnd. 

When yoke measures 8 cm from beg, bind off all sts. 

Finishing: 

Sew side seams. 

With crochet hook, work 1 rnds sc (single crochet) along armholes.

Sew yoke to frond and back.
