Raglan Pullover with Lace Neck

Sizes: 8/10 (US 4/6)

Materials:

Yarn: 500 g (25% Wool, 75% Acrylic, yardage = 280 m/100 g); one pair quick knit needles and one circular needle, both size 3 mm (US 2.5).

Stockinette stitch (St st): Work RS rows K and WS rows P.

Rib Pattern: K1, P1 Rib.

Center Pattern: 

Work according to chart 1. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows work all sts as they appear, purl yos. 

Work rows 1-78 throughout.

Neck Pattern:

Work according to chart 2. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows work all sts as they appear, purl yos. 

Work rows 1-48 throughout.

Back: 

Cast on 81 sts and work 5 cm in Rib Patt.

Cont in St st.

Raglan Shaping: After 40 cm from cast on bind off 1 st 23 times at each end. 

When piece measures 58 cm from cast on, bind off rem sts.

Front: 

Cast on 81 sts and work 5 cm in Rib Patt.

Cont to work in Center Pattern. 

Work rows 1-78 once, then repeat rows 77-78 throughout. 

When piece measures 40 cm from cast on, cont in Neck Pattern. 

Raglan Shaping: bind off 1 st 23 times at each end. 

When piece measures 58 cm from cast on, bind off rem sts.

Sleeves: 

Cast on 41 sts and work 5 cm in Rib Patt.

Cont in St st.

Sleeve Shaping: Inc 1 st each side every 6th row. 

Raglan Shaping: When piece measures 36 cm from cast on, bind off 1 st 23 times on every 2nd row. 

When piece measures 54 cm from cast on, bind off rem sts.

Finishing: 

Join raglan seams.

Sew side and sleeve seams. 

Neckband: With circular needle, pick up sts evenly around neck edge and work 3 cm in Rib Patt. Then bind off all sts as they appear.
