Pullover with Tulip Pattern

Materials: 

Yarn: 500 g (40% Wool, 50% Acrylic, 10% Metallic, yardage = 369 m/100 g); 1 pair quick knit needles and one circular needle, both size US 00 2,5 (3 mm).

Always work with double strand.

Rib Pattern: K2, P2 Rib.

Eyelet Stripes: 

Work according to chart 1. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows, work all sts as they appear, yos P.

Beg with 1 selv st and sts before patt, rep patt, end with sts after patt and 1 selv st.

Repeat rows 1 and 2 throughout.

Tulip Pattern:

Work according to chart 2. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows, work all sts as they appear, yos P.

Beg with 1 selv st and sts before patt, rep patt, end with sts after patt and 1 selv st.

Repeat rows 1-36 throughout.

Gauge:

in Eyelet Stripes: 18 sts and 25 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm;

in Tulip Pattern: 19 sts and 25 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm.

Back: 

Cast on 70 sts and work 22 Rows in Rib Patt for border, increasing 23 sts evenly across last row = 93 sts.

Next, work 94 rows in Tulip Pattern and 56 rows in Eyelet Stripes.

Armhole Shaping: In Row 95 from border, bind off 5 sts at each side, then on every 2nd row bind off 3 sts once, 2 sts once, 1 st twice = 69 sts.

In Row 151 from border, bind off all sts. 

Front: Work same as back. 

V-neck Shaping: In Row 109 from border, bind off 1 center stitch, then, on both sides of it, 1 st every other row 16 times.  

In Row 151 from border, bind off rem 18 shoulder sts.

Sleeves: 

Cast on 38 sts and work 22 Rows in Rib Patt for border, increasing 8 sts evenly across last row = 46 sts. 

Next, work 94 rows in Eyelet Stripes. 

Sleeve Shaping: In Row 7 from border, inc 1 st at each side, then inc 1 st 11 times on every 7th row = 70 sts.  

Cap Shaping: In Row 95 from border, bind off 5 sts at each end, then on every 2nd row 3 sts once, 2 sts once, 1 st 11 times, on every 4th row 1 st 3 times, on every 2nd row 3 sts twice.

In Row 139 from border, bind off rem 10 sts.

Finishing:

Close shoulder seams.

Sew in sleeves, join side and sleeve seams. 

Neck Band: Pick up and k 91 sts evenly around neck edge and work 16 rows in Rib Pat. 

To shape, work 3 center sts tog in 2nd row of front middle, then 3 center sts tog 6 times in each row.

In Row 9 from beg, inc 1 st on both sides of center st = 91 sts

In Row 17 from beg, fold neckband in half to WS and sew in place.
