Pullover with Textured Patterns

Materials: 

Yarn: 400 g (100% Wool, yardage = 450/100 m); 1 pair quick knit needles and 1 circular needle, both size 2 mm (US 0).

Stockinette st (St st): Knit on RS rows, purl on WS rows.

Rib Patt: K1, P1 Rib.

Cable Pattern:

Work according to chart 1. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows, work all sts P.

Honeycomb Pattern:

Work according to chart 2. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows work all sts as they appear.

Textured Pattern: 

Work according to chart 3. RS and WS rows are shown.

Gauge: 

in St st: 25 sts and 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

chart average: 31 sts and 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back: 

Cast on 101 sts and work 5 cm in Rib Patt.

Cont in St st. 

Armhole Shaping: When piece measures 49 cm from beg, at each end bind off 3 sts once, then 1 st twice on every 2nd row = 91 sts. 

Neckline Shaping: When piece measures 65 cm from beg, bind off center 35 sts and complete both sides separately. 

For rounding at inside edge bind off 3 sts once and 1 st twice on every 2nd row. 

When piece measures 70 cm from beg, bind off rem 23 sts each side for shoulders.

Front: 

Cast on 123 sts and work 5 cm in Rib Patt.

Then cont as foll: selv st, K5, P2, 30 sts in Cable Pattern, 10 sts in Honeycomb Pattern, 27 sts in Textured Pattern, 10 sts in Honeycomb Pattern, 30 sts in Cable Pattern, P2, K5, selv st. 

Armhole Shaping: When piece measures 49 cm from beg, bind off 4 sts once and 1 st 3 times on either side = 109 sts. 

Neckline Shaping: When piece measures 60 cm from beg, bind off centre 33 sts and complete both sides separately.

For rounding at inside edge bind off 3 sts twice and 1 st twice on every 2nd row. 

When piece measures 70 cm from beg, bind off rem 30 sts each side for shoulders. At the same time, work 2 sts tog 7 times uniformly.

Sleeve: 

Cast on 51 sts and work 9 cm in Rib Patt. Inc 17 sts (M1 tbl from strand between sts) evenly across last WS row = 68 sts. 

Cont as foll: selv st, K10, 2nd-8th sts of Honeycomb Pattern, 30 sts in Cable Pattern, 2nd-8th sts of Honeycomb Pattern, K10, selv st = 68 sts. 

Sleeve Shaping: Inc 1 stitch 20 times on each side on every 6th row = 108 sts. Work new sts in St st.

Cap Shaping: When piece measures 50 cm  from beg, bind off 4 sts at each end, and then 1 st 3 times, 2 sts 13 times, 3 sts once and rem 36 sts once on every 2nd row. 

Rep for other sleeve.

Finishing: 

Join shoulder seams. 

Band: With RS facing and circular needle, pick up 180 sts evenly around neck edge and work 2 cm in Rib Pattern. Bind off sts using Kitchener stitch.

Sew in sleeves, join side and sleeve seams.
