Pullover with Round Yoke

Sizes: 32-34 (36) 38 (40) 42 (44) / US 2-4 (6) 8 (10) 12 (14)

Materials: 

Yarn: 300 (300) 350 (400) 450 (450) g (100% Cotton, 110 m/50 g); circular knitting needles size 3 and 3.5 mm (US 2.5 and 4).

Garter stitch in rnds: alt 1 rnd - P, 1 rnd - K.

Rib Pat: alt K5, P2.

Lace Pattern A:

Work according to chart 1. Chart shows odd-numbered rnds and even-numbered rnds.

Work Rows 1-16 twice, then Rows 1-18 once.

Cable Pattern:

Work according to chart 2. Chart shows odd-numbered rnds and even-numbered rnds.

Instructions:

Using 3.5 mm circular needles, cast on 168 (184) 200 (208) 224 (240) sts and work 4 rnds in gst.

Then work in Lace Pattern. Mark either side so that they have the same pattern: 0 (4) 0 (0) 4 (0) sts.

Mark sides as foll: 88 (96) 104 (104) 112 (120) sts of front and 80 (88) 96 (104) 112 (120) sts of back.

Work front as foll: 53 (61) 69 (69) 77 (85) sts in Rib Patt, 35 center sts in Cable Pattern, with 1 st incd as shown in chart (= 39 sts), then work in Rib Patt till the end of rnd.  

Cont as foll.

Armhole Shaping: After 34 (36) 38 (40) 41 cm bind off 6 sts at each end = 150 (166) 182 (190) 206 (222) sts.

Yoke: 

Work sts of back. Cast on 51 (59) 67 (67) 75 (75) sts (= 1 sleeve). Work front. Cast on 51 (59) 67 (67) 75 (75) sts = 252 (284) 316 (324) 356 (372) sts. 

Work Rib and Cable as previously described.

Work 1 WS row, 1 RS row, 1 WS row, 1 RS row on sleeve.

Cont to work acc to chart 3. Cont to work cables in front.

Note:

Only work pattern shown on chart 3 (36 sts).

Work pattern and bind off sts as shown on chart.

On pattern 3, when binding off sts for the first time (arrow), bind off sts of pattern C at the same time.  

On every WS piece, work P2 tog.

When binding off sts for the 2nd time in pattern C, work K2 tog 3 times at each cable.

Work pattern B till the end.

Neckline: 

Change to 3 mm needles and work 1 WS row, 1 RS row, 1 WS row, 1 RS row .

Bind off sts pwise.
