Pullover with Lace Patterns
Size: 12/14 (8/10)
Materials:
Yarn: 500 g (50% Viscose, 50% Acrylic, yardage = 440 m/100 g); 1 pair quick knit needles and one circular needle, both size 4 mm (US 6).
The pullover is worked with double strand.
Rib Pattern: alt K1, P1.
Stockinette stitch (St st): Work RS rows K and WS rows P.
Reverse stocking stitch (Rev st st): Work RS rows P and WS rows K.
Eyelet Pattern:
Work according to chart 1. Only RS rows are shown.
On WS rows, work all sts and yos P.
Work Rows 1-12 once, then repeat Rows 3-12 throughout.
Small Cable:
Work according to chart 2. Only RS rows are shown.
On WS rows, work all sts as they appear.
Work Rows 1-4 once, then repeat Rows 3-4 throughout.
Lace Pattern:
Work according to chart 3. Only RS rows are shown.
On WS rows work all sts as they appear, purl yos.
Beg with 1 selv st and 10 sts before patt rep, rep patt, end with 9 sts after patt rep and 1 selv st.
Repeat Rows 1-40 throughout.
Gauge: 21 sts and 26 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Accentuated decrease:
at beg of row after selv st slip 3d st kwise, knit 4th st, pass slipped stitch over (skpo); at end of row before selv st knit 4th and 3d sts tog.
Back/Front:
Cast on 101 sts and work 4 rows in Rib Patt.
Cont as foll: selv st, 12 sts in St st, 2 sts in Rev st st, 9 sts in Eyelet Pattern, 8 sts in Small Cable, 37 sts in Lace Pattern, 8 sts in Small Cable, 9 sts in Eyelet Pattern, 2 sts in Rev st st, 12 sts in St st, selv st.
Raglan Shaping: When piece measures 38 cm from beg, at each end bind off 4 sts; K3 at beg of row after selv st and at end of row before selv st.
For raglan slants, at each end dec 1 st 21 times on every RS row using accentuated decrease.
When piece measures 54 cm from beg, put rem 51 sts aside.
Sleeves:
Cast on 37 sts and work 4 cm in Rib Patt. Inc 4 sts evenly across last row = 41 sts.
Cont as foll: selv st, 7 sts in St st, 8 sts in Small Cable, 9 sts in Eyelet Pattern, 8 sts in Small Cable, 7 sts in St st, selv st.
Sleeve Shaping: Inc 1 st in St st each side every 6th row 12 times = 65 sts.
When piece measures 42 cm from beg, at each end shape raglan slants as for back.
Then put rem 15 sts aside.
Rep for other sleeve.
Finishing:
Join raglan, side and sleeve seams.
Place sts of all pieces onto circular needle and work all sts in Rib Patt. On 1st row knit two consecutive selv sts tog.
When band measures 7 cm, bind off in pat.
