Pullover with Flower Pattern

Sizes: 16/18 (US 12/14)

Materials:

Yarn: 450 g (100% thin mohair); 1 pair quick knit needles and one circular needle, both size 3.5 mm (US 4).

Stockinette stitch (St st): Work RS rows K and WS rows P.

Flower Pattern:

Work according to chart. Only RS rows are shown. 

On WS rows, work all sts as they appear.

Repeat Rows 1-42 throughout.

Back:

Cast on 81 sts and work 2 rows in St st. 

For turndown, on next RS row work *K2, 1 yo, rep from *.

Then cont in St st. 

Armhole Shaping: When piece measures 42 cm from cast on, bind off each side 3 sts once, 2 sts once and 1 st once. 

Neckline Shaping: When piece measures 58 cm from cast on, bind off center 10 sts and complete both sides separately. 

For rounding at inside edge bind off 2 sts once and 1 st twice. 

When piece measures 62 cm from cast on, bind off rem sts for shoulder.

Front:

Cast on 81 sts and work 2 rows in St st. 

For turndown, on next RS row work *K2, 1 yo, rep from *.

Then work 3 cm more in St st. 

Cont as foll: selv st, 8 sts in St st, 63 sts in Flower Pattern (work patt rep over 21 sts 3 times), 8 sts in St st, selv st. 

Armhole Shaping: When piece measures 42 cm from cast on, bind off each side 3 sts once, 2 sts once and 1 st once.

Neckline Shaping: When piece measures 55 cm from cast on, bind off center 15 sts and complete both sides separately. 

For rounding at inside edge bind off 2 sts once and 1 st twice.

When piece measures 62 cm from cast on, bind off rem sts for shoulder.

Sleeves:

Cast on 38 sts and work 2 rows in St st. 

For turndown, on next RS row work *K2, 1 yo, rep from *. 

Then work 3 cm more in St st. 

Cont as foll: selv st, 7 sts in St st, 21 sts in Flower Pattern, 7 sts in St st, selv st. 

For sleeve slants, inc at each end 1 st 3 times on every 8th row and twice on every 6th row. 

Cap Shaping: When piece measures 44 cm from cast on, at both ends bind off 2 sts and then on every 2nd row 2 sts once, 1 st 13 times and 2 sts once.

When piece measures 60 cm from cast on, bind off rem sts.

Finishing:

Close shoulder seams.

Sew side and sleeve seams. Set in sleeves.

Neck Band: With circular needle, pick up sts evenly around neck edge and work 2 rnds in St st. 

For turndown, on next RS row work *K2, 1 yo, rep from *. 

Next, work 2 more rnds in St st and bind off all sts.

Turn down lower edges of sleeves, front and back as well as neck band and sew in place.
