Pullover with Eyelet Pattern
Sizes: 10/12 (US 6/8).
Materials:
Yarn: 400 g (20% Mohair, 80% Acrylic, yardage = 500 m/100 g); one pair quick knit needles and one circular needle, both size 3 mm (US 2.5) and crochet hook size 2 (US B) and 1 button.
The pullover is worked with double strand.
Stockinette stitch (St st): Work RS rows K and WS rows P.
Rib Pattern: K1, P1 Rib.
Eyelet Pattern:
Work acc to сhart. Only RS rows are shown.
On WS rows work all sts as they appear, purl yos.
Repeat Rows 1-12 throughout.
Back:
Cast on 73 sts and work 5 cm in Rib Patt.
Cont in St st.
Armhole Shaping: When piece measures 39 cm from beg, at both ends bind off 3 sts, then 1 st 3 times on every 2nd row.
Neckline Shaping: When piece measures 49 cm from cast on, bind off center 1 st and complete both sides separately.
For slant shaping, at neckline edge dec 2 sts 4 times on every 2nd row (for right part, work K3tog before selv st; for left part, work s2kpo (= sl 1 kwise, knit 2 together, pass slipped stitch over) after selv st.
Next, work 4 rows even in St st.
For shaping at neckline edge inc 1 st 4 times on every 2nd row.
When piece measures 59 cm from cast on, bind off all sts.
Front:
Cast on 73 sts and work 5 cm in Rib Patt.
Cont in Eyelet Pattern.
Armhole Shaping: When piece measures 39 cm from beg, at both ends bind off 3 sts, then 1 st 3 times on every 2nd row.
Neckline Shaping: When piece measures 49 cm from cast on, bind off center 37 sts and complete both sides separately.
For rounding at inside edge bind off 3 sts once, 2 sts once and 1 st once on every 2nd row.
When piece measures 59 cm from cast on, bind off all sts.
Sleeve:
Cast on 37 sts and work 5 cm in Rib Patt.
Cont in Eyelet Pattern.
Sleeve Slants: Inc 1 st each side on every 6th row.
Cap Shaping: When piece measures 35 cm from cast on, at both ends bind off 3 sts, then 1 st 16 times on every 2nd row.
When piece measures 51 cm from cast on, bind off all sts.
Finishing:
Close shoulder seams.
Sew side and sleeve seams. Set in sleeves.
Neckband: With circular needle, pick up sts evenly around neck edge and work 8 rnds in Rib Patt. Then bind off all sts as they appear.
With crochet hook, work 1 rnd sc and 1 rnd crab st (= sc from left to right) around back slit edge. Work buttonhole.
Sew on button.
