Materials:

Yarn: 200 g (40% mohair, 67% acrylic, yardage = 500m / 100 g); 1 pair quick knit needles size 2.5 mm (US 2).

Cable Lace Pattern:

Work according to chart 1. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows work all sts as they appear, purl yos.

Cable Pattern:

Work according to chart 2. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows, work all sts P.

Rep rows 1 - 44 throughout.

Gauge: 18 sts and 24 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back/Front:

Cast on 90 sts and work in Cable Lace Pattern: selv st, rep sts 1-22 twice, 12-22 once, 1-22 once, 1-11 once, selv st.

Armhole Shaping: After 53 cm from beg, bind off at each end 4 sts, then on every 2nd row 3 sts once, 2 sts once and 1 st twice = 68 sts.

When piece measures 61 cm from beg, bind off all sts.

Sleeve:

Cast on 46 sts and work in Cable Lace Pattern 1 (= 2 reps + 2 selv sts).

Cap Shaping: After 48 cm from beg, bind off at each end 4 sts, then on every 2nd row 2 sts once and 1 st 5 times.

When piece measures 56 cm from beg, bind off rem 24 sts.

Rep for other sleeve.

Finishing:

Sew side and sleeve seams. Set in sleeves.

Collar: Cast on 32 sts and work 91-93 cm in Cable Pattern (= 5 rows reps).

Sew short sides of collar tog and sew it on with its long side along neckline edge, stretching slightly to ease in neckline.
