Size: 10 (US 8)
Materials:
Yarn: 400 g (40 % Mohair, 60 % Acrylic, yardage = 350 m/100 g); one pair knit needles size 2 mm (US 0) and crochet hook size 1,75 mm (US B).
Stocking stitch (St st): work RS rows K and WS rows P.
Cable Pattern:
Work according to chart. Only RS rows are shown.
On WS rows work all sts as they appear, purl yos.
Work Rows 1 - 22 once, then repeat Rows 5 - 22 throughout.
Gauge: 40 sts and 36 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Back:
Cast on 166 sts working long-tail cast on and work in Cable Pattern for 224 rows.
On Row 225 from beg, bind off all sts.
Front:
Work like back, but with V-neck as foll:
Neckline Shaping: On Row 97 from beg, divide the work in the middle and work each side separately.
For neck slants, bind off 1 stitch every other row 30 times at neck edge.
On Row 225 from beg, bind off remaining 54 sts each side for shoulders.
Sleeves:
Cast on 74 sts working long-tail cast on and work in Cable Pattern for 211 rows.
Sleeve Shaping: On Row 7 from beg, inc 1 stitch at each end, then 1 stitch every 7th row 32 times, 1 stitch every other row 7 times = 154 sts.
Next, work 4 rows in St st.
On Row 215 from beg, bind off all sts.
Finishing:
Sew shoulder seams.
Sew in sleeves, join side and sleeve seams.
Using crochet hook, work 1 rnds around neck edges and bottom edges front and back as follows: * 2 sc (single crochet), 1 picot (= ch 3 and 1 sc back in the 1 st ch), repeat from * to end.
