Materials:

Yarn: 350 g (55% Cotton, 45% Acrylic, yardage = 330 m/100 g); one pair quick knit needles and one circular needle, both size 3 mm (US 2.5).

Garter st (gst): RS and WS rows K.

Pattern 1: 

Rows 1-6: Work Rev St st.

Row 7: selv st, * K1, 2 yos *, selv st.

Row 8: knit sts, slip yos.

Rows 9-12: Work Rev St st.

Pattern sequence:

16 rows in patt acc to chart 1 (Rows 1 and 2 once, then repeat Rows 3 - 6 throughout). 

12 rows in patt 1, 48 rows in patt acc to chart 2. 

12 rows in patt 1, 16 rows in patt acc to chart 3. 

12 rows in patt 1, 48 rows in patt acc to chart 2. 

12 rows in patt 1, then in patt acc to chart 1.

Gauge: 21 sts and 34 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back: 

Cast on 91 sts and work 10 rows in garter st. 

Cont in pattern sequence. When changing patt, inc or dec 1 st, if necessary, to complete patt rep. 

Armhole Shaping: After 37 cm from beg, bind off at each end 4 sts once and 1 st twice on every 2nd row = 79 sts. 

Neckline Shaping: After 55 cm from beg, bind off center 19 sts and complete both sides separately. 

For rounding at inside edge on every 2nd row bind off 2 sts once, 1 st twice and rem 26 sts for shoulder once.

Front: 

Work as given for back, but for neckline, after 45 cm from beg, bind off center 13 sts and complete both sides separately.

For rounding at inside edge on every 2nd row bind off 2 sts twice and 1 st 3 times. 

When work meas 57 cm from beg, bind off 26 sts for shoulder.

Sleeves: 

Cast on 44 sts and work 14 rows in garter st.

Cont acc to pattern sequence. 

Sleeve Shaping: Inc 1 st each side every 10th row 13 times = 70 sts. 

Cap Shaping: After 46 cm from cast on, at each end bind off 4 sts once, 2 sts 3 times, 1 st 15 times, 2 sts once and 16 sts once on every 2nd row.

Finishing: 

Sew shoulder seams. 

Neckband: With circular needle and RS facing, pick up 100 sts along neckline and work 10 rnds in garter st. Then bind off all sts. 

Sew side and sleeve seams. Set in sleeves.
