Pullover in Lace Pattern

Size:

Materials: 

Yarn: 250 g (100% Alpaca, yardage = 175 m/50 g); 1 pair of knit needle size 2.5 mm (US 1.5), crochet hook size 2.5 mm (US B/C), 3 buttons. 

Stockinette stitch (St st): Work RS rows K and WS rows P.

Lace Pattern:

Work according to chart 1. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows, work all sts and yos P.

Repeat Rows 1-78 throughout.

Band Pattern: 

Work according to chart 2. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows work all sts as they appear, purl yos.

Repeat Rows 1-26 once.

Back:

Cast on 149 sts and cont as foll: selv st, K1 + 144 sts in Lace Pattern (= patt rep over 12 sts 12 times), K2, selv st.

After 42 cm bind off sts.

Front: Work same as back.

Sleeves: 

Cast on 86 sts and work 26 rows in Band Pattern (selv st + 84 sts (= patt rep over 28 sts 3 times) + selv st), then bind off sts. 

Finishing:

Sew shoulder seams.

Sew side and sleeve seams. Set in sleeves.

For lace band, cast on 338 sts and work 26 rows in Band Pattern (selv st + 336 sts (= patt rep over 28 sts 12 times) + selv st), then bind off sts. 

Pick up sts around neck edge alt 1 st + 1 yo and work 25 rows in St st. Bind off sts.

Sew lace band to lower edge of body. Start at front center.   

Crochet 1 rnd of rev dc (= sc worked from left to right) around all edges.  

Sew buttons onto short edges of lace band.
