Pullover in Lace Pattern

Size: 10 (US 8).

Materials:

Yarn: 500 g (80% acrylic, 10% polyester, 10% metallic, 410 m/100 g); one pair quick knit needles and one circular knitting needle, both size 3.

Garter st (gst): RS and WS rows K.

Lace Pattern:

Work according to chart. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows work all sts as they appear, purl yos.

Repeat Rows 1-8 throughout.

Back:

Cast on 96 sts and work 4 rows in garter st. 

Cont to work in Lace Pattern.

Armhole Shaping: When piece measures 38 cm from beg, bind off at each end 5 sts once, then on every 2nd row 3 sts once and 1 stitch 3 times.

When piece measures 58 cm from beg, bind off rem sts.

Front:

Work like back, but with deeper neckline.

Neckline Shaping: When piece measures 52 cm from beg, bind off center 20 sts and complete both sides separately. 

For rounding at inside edge on every 2nd row, bind off 3 sts once and 1 stitch 4 times.

When piece measures 58 cm from beg, bind off rem sts.

Sleeves:

Cast on 43 sts and work 4 rows in garter st. 

Cont to work in Lace Pattern.

Sleeve Shaping: Inc 1st each side every 10th row 6 time.

Cap Shaping: When piece measures 40 cm from beg, bind off at each end 4 sts once, then on every 2nd row 2 sts twice, 1 stitch 12 times on each side.

When piece measures 54 cm from beg, bind off rem sts.

Finishing:

Join shoulder and side seams.

Sew in sleeves, join sleeve seams.

Neck Band: Pick up sts evenly around neck edge and work 4 rows in garter st. 

Bind off.
