Pullover in Lace Pattern

Size: 10 (US 8)

Materials:

Yarn: 500 g (100% Acrylic, yardage = 410 m/100 g); one pair quick knit needles and one circular needle, both size 3 mm (US 2,5).

Rib Pattern: * K1, P1, rep from * throughout.

On WS rows, work all sts as they appear.

Lace Pattern: 

Work acc to сhart 1. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows work all sts as they appear, purl yos.

Beg with 1 selv st and sts before patt, work patt rep throughout, end with sts after patt and 1 selv st.

Repeat Rows 1-8 throughout.

Center Lace Panel (over 23 sts): 

Work acc to сhart 2. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows work all sts as they appear, purl yos.

Repeat Rows 1-16 throughout.

Back:

Cast on 98 sts and work 2 cm in Rib Patt for border, inc 3 sts evenly across last WS row = 101 sts.

Cont as foll: 39 sts in Lace Patt, 23 sts in Center Lace Panel, 39 sts in Lace Patt.

Armhole Shaping: When piece measures 42 cm from beg, bind off at each end 5 sts once, then on every 2nd row 3 sts once and 1 st 3 times.

When piece measures 63 cm from beg, bind off all sts.

Front:

Work like back, but with deeper neckline.

Neck Shaping: When piece measures 50 cm from beg, bind off center 20 sts and complete both sides separately. 

For rounding at inside edge on every 2nd row, bind off 3 sts once and 1 stitch 4 times.

When piece measures 63 cm from beg, bind off all sts.

Sleeves:

Cast on 62 sts and work 2 cm in Rib Patt for border, inc 1 st evenly across last WS row = 63 sts.

Cont as foll: 20 sts in Lace Patt, 23 sts in Center Lace Panel, 20 sts in Lace Patt.

Sleeve Shaping: Inc 1st each end of every 4th row 5 times.

Cap Shaping: When piece measures 19 cm from beg, bind off at each end 4 sts once, then on every 2nd row 2 sts twice, 1 stitch 24 times.

When piece measures 29 cm from beg, bind off all sts.

Finishing:

Join shoulder and side seams.

Sew in sleeves, join sleeve seams.

Neck Band: Using circular needle, pick up k sts evenly around neck edge and work 2 cm in Rib Pat. 

Then bind off all sts in pat.
