Pullover in Lace Diamonds

Sizes: L-XL 

Materials: 

Yarn: 530 g (100% Wool, yardage = 178 m/100 g); 1 pair quick knit needles size 4 mm (US 6) and 1 circular needle size 3 mm (US 2.5). 

Rib Pattern: alt K3, P3. 

Lace Diamonds:

Work according to chart. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows work all sts as they appear, purl yos.

Repeat Rows 1-24 throughout.

Gauge: 19 sts and 23 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back: 

Cast on 103 sts and knit 1 row.

Cont in Lace Diamonds (= 5 reps + P1 + 2 selv sts). 

Armhole Shaping: When piece measures 35 cm from beg, at each end bind off 5 sts, then 2 sts twice and 1 st twice on every 2nd row = 81 sts.

When piece measures 56 cm from beg, bind off all sts.

Front: 

Work as given for back, but for neckline, after 47 cm from beg, bind off center 21 sts and complete both sides separately.

For rounding at inside edge on every 2nd row bind off 2 sts once and 1 st 5 times.

When piece measures 56 cm from beg, bind off rem 24 sts for shoulder. 

Sleeves: 

Cast on 35 sts and work in Rib Patt (= 5 reps + K3 + 2 selv sts). 

Sleeve Shaping: Inc 1 stitch each side on every 8th row 12 times = 59 sts. Work new sts into rib. 

Cap Shaping: When piece measures 44 cm from beg, at each end bind off 5 sts, then 3 sts once, 2 sts 3 times, 1 st 5 times, 2 sts once, 3 sts once and rem 11 sts once on every 2nd row. 

Finishing: 

Sew shoulder seams. 

Neck Band: Using circular needle, pick up 110 sts evenly around neck edge from WS and then knit 4 rnds, purl 1 rnd for fold and knit 5 more rnds. 

Fold band in half to inside and sew open sts to neckline. 

Sew side and sleeve seams. Set in sleeves.
