Pullover in Fancy Pattern
Sizes: 10/12 (US 6/8).
Materials:
Yarn: 500 g (50% Wool, 50% Acrylic, yardage = 280 m/100 g); one pair quick knit needles and one circular needle, both size 3.5 mm (US 4).
Rib Patt: alt K2, P2.
Fancy Pattern:
Work according to chart 1. Only RS rows are shown.
On WS rows work all sts as they appear, purl yos.
Beg with 1 selv st and 1 st before patt rep, rep patt, end with 1 selv st.
Repeat Rows 1-14 throughout.
Eyelet Pattern:
Work according to chart 2. Only RS rows are shown.
On WS rows work all sts as they appear, purl yos.
Beg with 1 selv st and 1 st before patt rep, rep patt, end with 1 selv st.
Repeat Rows 1-4 throughout.
Back:
Cast on 104 sts and work 6 cm in Rib Patt. Inc 9 sts evenly across last WS row = 113 sts.
Continue in Fancy Patt.
Armhole Shaping: When piece measures 43 cm from cast on, at both ends bind off 4 sts, then 1 st 11 times on every 2nd row.
When piece measures 63 cm from cast on, bind off rem 83 sts.
Front:
Work like back, but with deeper neckline.
Neckline Shaping: When piece measures 53 cm from cast on, bind off center 25 sts and complete both sides separately.
For rounding at inside edge bind off 3 sts once, 2 sts once and 1 st once.
When piece measures 63 cm from cast on, bind off rem 23 sts each side for shoulders.
Sleeve:
Cast on 44 sts and work 4 cm in Rib Patt.
Cont to work in Eyelet Pattern.
Sleeve Shaping: Inc 1 st each side every 6th row.
Cap Shaping: When piece measures 42 cm from cast on, at both ends bind off 4 sts, then 1 st 11 times on every 2nd row.
When piece measures 48 cm from cast on, bind off rem sts.
Finishing:
Close shoulder seams.
Sew side and sleeve seams. Set in sleeves.
Neckband: With circular needle, pick up sts evenly around neck edge and work 3 cm in Rib Patt. Then bind off all sts as they appear.
