Lace V-Neck Pullover

Sizes: 8/10 (14/16) 

Materials: 

Yarn: 350 (450) g (60% Cotton, 40 % Polyamide, 150 m per 50 g ball); one pair quick knit needles size 4,5 mm and one circular needle size 3,5 mm.

Ribbing Pattern: *K2, P2, rep from * throughout. 

Lace pattern: Multiple of 17 + 2 selv sts.

Work according to chart 1. Only RS rows are shown. 

On WS rows work all sts as they appear, purl yos. 

Work patt rep between selv sts throughout. 

Work Rows 1 - 2 10 times = 20 rows, then rep Rows 3-4 15 times = 50 rows in total.

Zig-zag Lace Pattern: multiple of 17 + 2 selv sts.

Work according to chart 2. RS and WS rows are shown.

Work patt rep between selv sts throughout. 

Work Rows 1-12 once, then rep Rows 13-14 24 times = 60 rows in total.

Pattern Sequence: 50 rows in Lace Patt, 60 rows in Zig-zag Lace Patt, rep Rows 1-12 of chart 2 once, then rep Rows 3-4 of chart 1 throughout.

Gauge: 24 sts and 31 rows = 10 x 10 сm.

Back:

Cast on 104 (121) sts and work according to patt sequence. 

Armhole Shaping: When work measures 35,5 cm = 110 rows from beg, bind off 4 sts at each end, then 2 sts every other row once, 1 stitch 21 (17) times and 1 stith every 4th row 0 (4) times = 50 (67) sts. 

When work measures 51 сm = 158 rows (54 cm = 168 rows) from beg, bind off all sts. 

Centre 38 (41) sts form neckline, outer 6 (13) sts on either side form shoulders.

Front:

Work as given for back except for neck as foll: 

When work measures 38 cm = 118 rows (40 cm = 124 rows) from beg, bind off center 2 (3) sts and finish both sides separately. 

Bind off 1 stitch every other row 18 (19) times for neckline slant. 

When work matches back to shoulders, bind off rem 6 (13) shoulder sts on either side.

Sleeves:

Cast on 53 sts and work according to patt sequence. 

Sleeve shaping: At the same time, inc 1 stitch every 8th row 4 times and every 6th row 12 times (every 6th row 13 times and every 4th row 7 times) = 85 (93) sts, working inc'd sts into pat. 

Cap Shaping: When work measures 35,5 cm = 110 rows from beg, bind off 4 sts at each ends, then 2 sts every other row 2 (3) times, 1 stitch 15 times, 2 sts twice, 3 sts once and 4 (5) sts once.

When work measures 49,5 cm = 154 rows (50,5 cm = 156 rows) from beg, bind off rem 17 (19) sts.

Finishing:

Sew shoulder seams.

With circular needle pick up 140 (148) sts evenly around neck edge and work in Rib Pat. Make sure there are k2 at pointed end. Mark these 2 sts. 

Neckline shaping: Work first marked stitch together with before stitch, work 1 skpo with second marked stitch and foll stitch (= sl marked st kwise, K foll st, pass slipped stitch over).  

Cont until welt measures 1,5 cm. Bind off all sts as they appear. 

Set in sleeves. Sew side and sleeve seams.
