Materials:
Yarn: 300 g (100% Wool, yardage = 230 m/50 g); one pair quick knit needlessize 3 mm (US 2.5).
Cable Lace Pattern:
Work according to chart 1. Only RS rows are shown.
On WS rows, work all sts as they appear, purl yo's.
Repeat Rows 1-64 throughout.
Lace Panel:
Work according to сhart 2. RS rows and WS rows are shown.
Repeat Rows 1-16 throughout.
Rib Pattern:
Row 1: * K1 tbl, P1, repeat from * to end.
Row 2: * P1tbl, K1, repeat from * to end.
Repeat Rows 1 and 2 for rib pattern.
Gauge: 34 sts and 38 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Back:
Cast on 164 sts and work 1 WS row purl.
Cont as foll: edge st, 11 sts in Cable Lace Pattern (begin with 2nd stitch), * 5 sts in Rib Patt, 16 sts in Lace Panel, 5 sts in Rib Patt, 12 sts in Cable Lace Pattern *, repeat from * to * 2 more times, 5 sts in Rib Patt, 16 sts in Lace Panel, 5 sts in Rib Patt, 11 sts in Cable Lace Pattern, edge st.
Armhole Shaping: On Row 193 from beg, bind off 6 sts at each end, then on every 2nd row 3 sts once, 2 sts twice and 1 stitch 4 times = 130 sts.
On Row 80 from beg of Armholes, bind off all sts.
Front:
Work like back, but with neckline.
Neckline Shaping: On Row 62 from beg of Armholes, bind off center 50 sts, then bind off at both neck edges on every 2nd row 3 sts once, 3 sts twice and 1 stitch 3 times.
On Row 80 from beg of Armholes, bind off remaining 28 sts.
Sleeves:
Cast on 88 sts and work 1 WS row purl.
Cont as foll: edge st, 11 sts in Cable Lace Pattern (begin with 2nd stitch), * 5 sts in Rib Patt, 16 sts in Lace Panel, 5 sts in Rib Patt, 12 sts in Cable Lace Pattern, 5 sts in Rib Patt, 16 sts in Lace Panel, 5 sts in Rib Patt, 11 sts in Cable Lace Pattern, edge st.
Sleeve shaping: On Row 11 from beg, increase 1 stitch at each end, then 1 stitch every 8th row 9 times = 108 sts.
Cap Shaping: On Row 96 from beg, bind off 4 sts at each end, then 3 sts each side every other row twice, 2 sts 4 times, 1 stitch 18 times and 3 sts 4 times.
On Row 154 from beg, bind off remaining 12 sts.
Finishing:
Join shoulder seams.
Sew in sleeves, join side and sleeve seams.
