Lace Mix Pattern Vest

Sizes: 10/16 (US 6/12).

Materials:

Yarn: 600 g (75% Cotton, 25% Polyamide, yardage = 440 m/100 g); size of needles suitable for gauge required.

Garter st (gst): k every row.

Lace Pattern 1:

Work according to chart 1. RS and WS rows are shown with RS of work facing.

Lace Patterns 2 and 3:

Work acc to charts 2 and 3. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows work all sts as they appear, purl yos.

Right Front:

Cast on 60 sts and work 6 rows in gst.

Cont acc to charts 1, 2 and 3. Work 4 rows in gst between patterns.

For neckline, after 36 cm from cast on, at inside edge dec 1 st 12 times on every 2nd row.

Continue even.

After 63 cm from cast on bind off all sts.

Left Front: Work in reverse.

Back:

Cast on 20 sts and work acc to charts 1, 2 and 3. Work 4 rows in gst between patterns.

For widening, at both ends inc 1 st on every row = 110 sts. Cont even.

When same length as front, bind off all sts.

Finishing:

For band, pick up sts along vertical edges of fronts, neck edge, and bottom edge of back. Work 6 rows in gst. Bind off all sts.

For sleeve band, pick up sts along armhole edge. Work 8 rows in gst. Bind off all sts.

Sew shoulder and side seams.
