Lace Mix Pattern Pullover

Size: S

Materials: 

Yarn: 350 g (100% Microfiber, yardage = 152 m/50 g); 1 pair quick knit needles and one circular needle, both size 3 mm (US 2.5).

Garter st (gst): RS and WS rows K.

Stockinette stitch (St st): Work RS rows K and WS rows P.

Lace Pattern A: Multiple of 6 + 3 + 2 selv sts. 

Work according to chart 1. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows, work all sts and yos P. 

Beg with 1 selv st and sts before patt, rep patt, end with sts after patt and 1 selv st. 

Repeat Rows 1-12 throughout.

Lace Pattern B: 

Work as given for Lace Pattern A, but work acс to chart 2.

Repeat Rows 1-10 throughout.

Lace Pattern C: Multiple of 12 + 4 + 2 selv sts.

Work according to chart 3. RS and WS rows are shown. 

Beg with 1 selv st and sts before patt, rep patt, end with sts after patt and 1 selv st. 

Repeat Rows 1-4 throughout.

Pattern sequence: 

For body, work 48 rows in Lace Pattern A, 2 rows in St st, 30 rows in Lace Pattern B, 2 rows in St st (inc 1 st on last row), 20 rows in Lace Pattern C, 2 rows in St st (dec 1 st on first row), 48 rows in Lace Pattern A = 152 rows.

Back: 

Cast on 145 sts and work 8 rows for band as foll: selv st, * 3 sts in gst, 4 sts in St st, rep from * throughout, 3 sts in gst, selv st. 

On Row 9 dec 56 sts = 89 sts, and work acc to pattern sequence.

Armhole Shaping: When piece measures 36 cm from beg, at each end bind off 4 sts once, then 3 sts once and 1 st once on every 2nd row = 73 sts. 

Work Lace Pattern A as foll: selv st, 1 st in St st, 4 sts before patt rep, rep patt 11 times, selv st. 

Neckline Shaping: After 51 cm from cast on, bind off center 25 sts and complete both sides separately.

For rounding at inside edge bind off 4 sts once and 3 sts twice on every 2nd row. 

When piece measures 53 cm from cast on, bind off rem 14 sts each side for shoulders. 

Front: 

Work like back, but with deeper neckline. 

When piece measures 43 cm from cast on, bind off center 25 sts and complete both sides separately.

For rounding at inside edge bind off 4 sts once, 3 sts 3 times and 2 sts twice on every 2nd row.

Sleeves: 

Cast on 72 sts and work 8 rows for band as given for back, dec 25 sts evenly on last row = 47 sts.

Then work 10 cm in Lace Pattern A and place all sts onto cable needle. 

Cast on 72 sts again and work one more band. Dec 25 sts evenly across last row = 47 sts. 

Put needles together and work 2 sts tog from main and cable needle.   

Then work in Lace Pattern B. For sleeve slants, inc 1 st 11 times on every 6th row each side. 

When piece measures 41 cm from beg, there should be 69 sts on the needle. 

Cap Shaping: At each end bind off 4 sts once and 1 st 20 times. 

Then bind off remaining 21 sts.

Finishing:

Sew shoulder seams. 

Neck Band: Pick up 112 sts evenly around neck edge and work 8 rnds as foll: * 3 sts in gst, 4 sts in St st, rep from * throughout, then bind off all sts tightly. 

Sew side and sleeve seams. Set in sleeves.
