Lace and Cable Mix Pattern Pullover

Sizes: 10/12 (14/16) 18/20 (US 6/8 (10/12) 14/16)

Materials:

Yarn: 550 (600) 650 g (100% linen, yardage = 110 m/50 g); 1 pair quick knit needles and one circular needle, both size 4 mm (US 6); double-pointed needles size 4 mm (US 6). 

Cable A (over 6 sts):

Work acc to сhart 1a. Only RS rows are shown. 

On WS rows, work all sts as they appear. 

Repeat Rows 1-4 throughout.

Cable B (over 6 sts):

Work like Cable A, but according to chart 1b.

Lace Pattern (over 22 sts):

Work acc to сhart 2. Only RS rows are shown. 

On WS rows work all sts as they appear, purl yos.

Repeat Rows 1-10 throughout.

Back:

Cast on 172 sts and work 1 cm = knit 1 WS row and purl 2 rows for band. Beg with 1 WS row.   

Cont as foll: selv st, * 6 sts in Cable A, 22 sts in Lace Pattern, 6 sts in Cable B, rep from * 4 more times, selv st. 

For shoulder slants, after 43.5 cm = 130 rows (45.5 cm = 136 rows) 47.5 cm = 142 rows from band, at both ends bind off 5 sts once, then 5 sts 8 times on every 2nd row. 

Neckline Shaping: At the same time, after 48 cm = 144 rows (50 cm = 150 rows) 52 cm = 156 rows from band, bind off center 68 sts and complete both sides separately.

After 49.5 cm = 148 rows (51.5 cm = 154 rows) 53.5 cm = 160 rows from band, bind off rem 7 sts each side for shoulders.

Front:

Work like back, but with deeper neckline.

After 43.5 cm = 130 rows (45.5 cm = 136 rows) 47.5 cm = 142 rows from band, bind off center 68 sts.

Finish when front matches back.

Sleeves:

Using double-pointed needles, cast on 60 (72) 84 sts (= 15 (18) 21 sts on each needle). Join for working in rnds and work in Rib Patt.  

After 29 cm = 90 rows from setup row, bind off all sts. 

Finishing:

Close shoulder seams. 

Neck Band: With circular needle, pick up 118 sts evenly around neck edge. Knit 1 rnd and purl 2 rnds. 

Then bind off all sts pwise. 

Sew side seams leaving upper 12 (14.5) 17 cm open for sleeves. Sew in sleeves.
