Materials:

Yarn: 500 g (50% Wool, 50% Acrylic, yardage = 340m / 100g), one circular needle size 3 mm, crochet hook size 2 mm, 5 buttons.

Sleeve Pattern:

Work according to chart 1. Only RS rows are shown. On WS rows, work sts as they appear.

Repeat Rows 1-8 throughout.

Basic Pattern:

Work according to chart 2. Only RS rows are shown. On WS rows, work sts as they appear.

Repeat Rows 1-8 throughout.

Seed Stitch:

Work according to chart 3. Only RS rows are shown. On WS rows, work sts as they appear.

Repeat Rows 1-4 throughout.

Border: Work according to crochet chart.

Back:

Cast on 102 sts and cont as foll: selv st, 44 sts in Basic Patt, 12 sts in Seed Stitch, 44 sts in Basic Patt, selv st.

Armhole Shaping: When piece measures 36 cm from beg, at each end bind off 4 sts once, 2 sts once, 1 st 3 times on every 2nd row.

When piece measures 64 cm from beg, bind off sts.

Right Front:

Cast on 58 sts and cont as foll: selv st, 12 sts in Seed Stitch, 44 sts in Basic Patt, selv st.

At the same time, work buttonholes evenly spaced on right front band.

Armhole Shaping: When piece measures 36 cm from beg, at each end of RS row bind off 4 sts once, 2 sts once, 1 st 3 times.

Neckline Shaping: After 44 cm from cast on, at beg of each RS row bind off 12 sts, then on every 5th RS row 1 st 6 times.

When piece measures 64 cm from beg, bind off sts.

Left Front: Work in reverse.

Sleeves:

Cast on 42 sts and work in Sleeve Patt.

Shape Sleeve: Inc 1st on every 8th RS row 6 times.

Cap Shaping: When piece measures 44 cm from beg, at each end bind off 4 sts once, 2 sts once, 1 st 3 times, 1 st 10 times on every 2nd row.

When piece measures 60 cm from beg, bind off all sts.

Finishing:

Sew shoulder and side seams.

Collar: Pick up sts along outside neckline edge and work 12 cm in Seed Stitch.

With crochet hook, work around outside edge of fronts, collar and armholes acc to crochet chart 4 and 1 rnd crab st (= sc from left to right).
