Integrally-knitted Pullover with Lace Pattern and Cables

Size: 10 (US 6)

Materials:

Yarn: 600 g (100% Acrylic, yardage = 300 m/100 g); one pair quick knit needles and one circular needle, both size 4 mm (US 6).

Stockinette stitch (St st): Work RS rows K and WS rows P.

St st on rnds: K.

Cable Pattern: 

Work according to chart 2. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows work all sts as they appear.

Repeat Rows 1-2 throughout.

Lace Pattern: 

Work according to chart 1. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows work all sts as they appear, purl yos. 

On even-numbered rnds work all sts as they appear, knit yos.

Repeat Rows 1-8 throughout.

Numbered 1 in schematic.

Incs: 

Work according to charts 3 and 4. Charts show only odd-numbered rnds.

On even-numbered rnds work all sts as they appear.

Numbered 3 and 4 in schematic.

Working: 

Pullover is worked in one piece.

Cast on 150 sts and join to work in rnds in Cable Pattern (work odd-numbered rnds acc to chart, work sts on even-numbered rnds as they appear).

When piece meas 4 cm from cast on, work in Lace Pattern. Work 1 row rep. 

Then, for expansion, inc sts acc to charts 3 and 4 on every 2nd rnd betw reps of Lace Pattern. 

When piece measures 28 cm from beg, place sts of sleeves on holder. 

Work back and front separately in rows back and forth.

Back: 

Work incs in the middle of back acc to charts 3 and 4.

At same time, for narrowing, dec 1 st at each end on every 4th row.

When piece measures 48 cm from cast on, work in Cable Pattern.

When piece measures 56 cm from cast on, bind off all sts.

Front: Work same as back.

Sleeves: 

Place the sts of sleeves back onto needles and work in St st. 

For narrowing, bind off 1 st at each end on every 6th row.

When piece measures 58 cm from cast on, dec 16 sts evenly and work in Cable Pattern. 

When piece measures 66 cm from cast on, bind off all sts.

Finishing:

Sew side and sleeve seams.
