Materials:

Yarn: 350 (400) 450 (500) 550 g (55% Cotton, 45% Viscose, 113 m/50 g); one pair quick knit needles size 3.5 mm (US 4).

Garter st (gst): k every row.

St st: k on RS rows, p on WS rows.

Center Lace Pattern:

Work according to chart A. RS and WS rows are shown.

Rep rows 1-20 throughout.

Lace Rectangle:

Work according to chart B. RS and WS rows are shown.

Work Rows 1-20 once.

Gauge: 24 sts over St st = 10 сm.

Front:

Cast on 93 (105) 117 (129) 141 sts and work 12 rows in gst.

Then work center 59 sts in Lace Pattern. Work other sts in St st.

Armhole Shaping: When piece measures 31 (37) 43 (46) 49 cm from cast on, at each end bind off 4 sts once, 3 sts 1 (1) 2 (3) 3 times, 2 sts 1 (2) 2 (2) 3 times and 1 st 1 (2) 2 (2) 1 times on every 2nd row.

After 6 (7) 8 (8) 9 Lace Pattern rows reps, bind off center 23 (23) 25 (25) 25 sts for neckline and complete both sides separately.

For rounding at inside edge of neckline bind off 5 (5) 5 (6) 6 sts once, 3 sts 1 (1) 1 (1) 2 times, 2 sts twice and 1 st 1 (2) 3 (3) 2 times on every 2nd row.

When work measures 21 (22) 23 (24) 25 cm from armhole beg, bind off rem sts for shoulders.

Back: Work same as front but in St st.

After 3 rows from armhole beg, work Lace Rectangle on 21st st in the middle of next row acc to chart B.

After 20 rows of Lace Rectangle cont to work rem sts in St st.

Neckline Shaping: When piece measures 49 (56) 63 (67) 71 cm from beg, bind off center 49 (51) 55 (57) 61 sts and complete both sides separately.

When work measures 21 (22) 23 (24) 25 cm from armhole beg, bind off rem sts for shoulders.

Sleeves:

Cast on 52 (54) 56 (58) 60 sts and work 12 rows in gst.

Then work in St st. Inc 1 st after every 1 (1) 1.5 (1.5) 1.5 cm at both ends of sleeves until there are 84 (86) 88 (90) 92 sts left on needles.

Cap Shaping: When sleeve meas 44 (44) 46 (46) 48 cm, at both ends bind off 4 sts once, 2 sts 7 times and then 1 st until there are 24 sts left on needles.

Bind off all sts.

Finishing:

Close shoulder seams.

Pick up sts along neck edge and work 12 rows in gst. Bind off all sts.

Sew on sleeves, sew side and sleeve seams.
