Cable Pullover

Sizes: 12/14 (US 10/12)

Materials:

200 g NAKO SIRIUS (100% Acrylic, yardage = 440 m/100 g); one pair knit needles and one circular needle, both size US 00 (2 mm), one auxiliary needle.

Reverse stockinette stitch (Rev St st): P RS rows; K WS rows; in rnds P all stitches.

Rib Pattern: K1, P1 Rib.

Cable Pattern: 

Work according to chart. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows work all sts as they appear, purl yos.

Gauge:

over rev st st: 23 sts and 39 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back and Front are worked in the round from the bottom up. 

With circular needle, cast on 210 sts and join for working in rnds. Work 3 rnds in Rib Patt.

Fold the work in half and mark the middle of the front.

Work in Cable Patt for 144 rnds.

Sleeve shaping: On Rnd 147 from beg, cont as foll: work 90 sts for Front, bind off 15 sts for right Armhole, work 90 sts for Back, bind off 15 sts for left Armhole.

Place Front sts on stitch holder.

Back (over 90 sts): 

Work Rows 149-212 in Cable Patt.

Neck Shaping: On Row 213 from beg, bind off center 26 sts and at both sides of them 2 sts every other row twice. 

On Row 225 from beg, bind off rem 28 shoulder sts on either side.

Front (over 90 sts): 

Place the sts on holder to needle and work 45 rows in Rev St st..

Neck Shaping: On Row 175 from beg, bind off center 26 sts and at both sides of them 2 sts every other row twice. 

On Row 225 from beg, bind off rem 28 shoulder sts on either side.

Sleeves:

Sew shoulder seams.

Pick up and K110 sts along armhole edge and work in Rev St st. 

Sleeve shaping: On Row 7 from beg, inc 1 stitch at each end, then 1 stitch every 6th row 20 times = 68 sts.

Beg with row 133, work 4 rows in Rib Patt.

On Row 137 from beg, bind off all sts.

Finishing:

Sew sleeve seams.

With circular needle, pick up 160 sts evenly around neck edge and work 3 rnds in Rib Pat, bind off all sts.
