Wavy Stitch Knitting Pattern

How to knit Wavy Stitch:

Work with a multiple of 17 + 10 + 2 edge sts.

Cast on 29 sts (5 + 17 + 5 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows only Right Side Rows.

On Wrong Side Rows, purl all stitches and yo's.

The patt rep = 17 sts.

Begin with 1 edge st and 5 sts before patt rep, work patt repeat throughout, end with 5 sts after patt and 1 edge st.

yo: yarn over

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch

Row 1: knit all Stitches.

Row 3: edge st, k5, * k2tog 3 times, (yo, k1) 5 times, yo, skpo 3 times *; repeat from * to *; k5, edge st.

Rows 5, 7 and 9: edge st, k3, p2, * p3, k3, p5, k3, p3 *; repeat from * to *; p2, k3, edge st.

Row 11: edge st, k5, * k2tog 3 times, (yo, k1) 5 times, yo, skpo 3 times *; repeat from * to *; k5, edge st.

Repeat Rows 1-12 throughout.
