How to knit Wavy Stitch:

Multiple of 21 + 1 + 2 selvage sts.

Cast on 24 sts (21 + 1 + 2 selv sts) and work according to chart. 

RS row and WS row are shown.

Read RS row from right to left, WS row from left to right.

The pat rep = 21 sts wide.

Description:

Rows 1, 3 and 5: selv st (edge), * P1, slip 2 pwise, leave yarn at front of work, repeat from, repeat from *, end with P1 and selv st.

Rows 2, 4 and 6: purl all sts.

Row 7: selv st, * K1, yo, K4, 1 skpo (= slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch), K8, K2tog (= knit 2 stitches together), K4, yo, repeat from *, end with K1 and selv st.

Row 8: selv st, P1, * P1, yo, P4, P2tog (= purl 2 stitches together), P6, P2tog tbl (= purl 2 together thru back loop), P4, yo, P2, repeat from *, selv st.

Row 9: selv st, * K3, yo, K4, 1 skpo, K4, K2tog, K4, yo, K2, repeat from *, end with K1 and selv st.

Row 10: selv st, P1, * P3, yo, P4, P2tog, P2, P2tog tbl, P4, yo, P4, repeat from *, selv st.

Row 11: selv st, * K5, yo, K4, 1 skpo, K2tog, K4, yo, K4, repeat from *, end with K1 and selv st.

Row 12: purl all sts.

Repeat Rows 1-12 throughout.
