Top Down Raglan Knitting Pattern
How to knit Raglan line top down:
Cast on 15 sts (13 sts + 2 edge sts) and work according to сhart.
Raglan line = 7 center sts.
1/2 Right Cross: slip 2 sts to cable needle, hold to back, K1, K2 from cable needle
1/2 Left Cross: slip 1 st to cable needle, hold to front, K2, K1 from cable needle
make 3 sts (K1B, K1, K1B) in to 1 st: K in st below (= K1b): Knit into stitch below, inserting needle from front through the st in the row below
Row 1 (set-up WS row): edge st, p3, * p2, purl and yarn over, yarn over to be dropped on following row; P1; purl and yarn over, yarn over to be dropped on following row, p2, * p3, edge st.
Row 2 (RS): edge st, k3, * 1/2 Right Cross, make 3 sts (K1B, K1, K1B) in to 1 st, 1/2 Left Cross *, k3, edge st.
Row 3 (WS): edge st, p4, * p2, purl and yarn over, yarn over to be dropped on following row; P1; purl and yarn over, yarn over to be dropped on following row, p2, * p4, edge st.
Work Rows 1-3 once, then repeat raglan line on the 7 center stitches of Rows 2-3 throughout.
