Size: 8 (US 4).

Materials:

Yarn: 450 g (80% Wool, 20% Acrylic, yardage = 400 m/100 g); one pair quick knit needles and one circular needle, both size 2,5mm (US 1.5).

Lace Pattern:

Work according to chart. Only RS rows are shown.

On Wrong Side rows, work all sts and yo's P.

Begin with 1 edge st and 4 sts before patt rep, work patt rep throughout, end with 5 sts after patt rep and 1 edge st.

Repeat Rows 1-16 throughout.

Rib Pattern: * K1, P1, rep from * throughout.

Stockinette stitch (St st): work RS rows K and WS rows P.

Note:

The pullover is made of 2 pieces and is knitted from the sleeve. 

Arrow in schematic = direction of knitting.

Cast on 139 sts and work in Lace Pattern.

For the Shaping, increase 1 stitch on every 2nd row 64 times at left edge.

Continue even.

When work measures 34 cm from beg, for the neckline shaping, bind off 32 sts at right edge.

Continue even.

When work measures 56 cm from beg, cast on 32 sts at right edge.

For the Sleeve Shaping, decrease 1 stitch on every 2nd row 64 times at left edge.

When piece measures 90 cm from beg, bind off all sts.

Work the second piece in the same way.

Lace Diamond Stitch Knitting Pattern

Finishing:

Sew shoulder and side seams.

For the band, with circular needle pick up sts evenly across from lower edge and work rnds in Rib Pattern.

When piece measures 7 cm from beg, bind off all sts.

Pick up stitches along the cast-on edges of the sleeves and evenly decrease 60 sts in the first row.

Then work 4 rows in St st and bind off all stitches.

For the Neckband, with circular needle pick up sts evenly around neck edge, work 4 rnds in St st, then bind off all sts.

Fold all bands in half to inside and sew in place.
