How to knit Rib Stitch with Perfect Edges:
Multiple of 2 + 1 + 6 edge sts.
Cast on 17 sts (3 edge sts + 1 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 3 edge sts) and work according to сhart.
The chart shows RS row and WS row.
Read RS row from right to left, WS row from left to right.
The pat rep = 2 sts.
Row 1: edge3 (slip stitch, leave yarn at front of work, k1, slip 1 st pwise, leave yarn at front of work), k1, * k2, repeat from *, edge3 (k1, slip 1 st pwise, leave yarn at front of work, k1).
Row 2: edge3 (slip stitch, leave yarn at front of work, k1, slip 1 st pwise, leave yarn at front of work), * k1, yarn over, slip 1 st pwise, leave yarn at front of work, repeat from *, k1, edge3 (k1, slip 1 st pwise, leave yarn at front of work, k1).
