Relief Triangles Knitting Pattern

Work with a multiple of 12 stitches + 1 + 2 edge stitches.

Cast on 15 stitches (12 + 1 + 2 edge stitches) and work according to chart.

The chart shows only Right Side Rows.

On Wrong Side Rows, work sts as they appear.

The pattern repeat = 12 stitches wide.

Horizontally, begin with 1 edge stitch, work patt rep throughout, end with 1 stitch after patt rep and 1 edge stitch.

p: Purl

 

Row 1 (right side): edge st, * p5, k1, p1, k1, p4 *; repeat from * to *; end with p1, edge st.

Row 2 and all even-numbered rows (wrong side): work each stitch as it appears on this side of work (knit the k sts and purl the p sts).

Row 3: edge st, * k5, (p1, k1) 2 times, k3 *; repeat from * to *; end with k1, edge st.

Row 5: edge st, * k4, (p1, k1) 3 times, k2 *; repeat from * to *; end with k1, edge st.

Row 7: edge st, * k3, (p1, k1) 4 times, k1 *; repeat from * to *; end with k1, edge st.

Row 9: edge st, * k2, (p1, k1) 5 times *; repeat from * to *; end with k1, edge st.
