Open Shoulder Pullover

Size: S/M

Materials: 

Yarn: 400 g (40% Mohair, 60% Acrilic, yardage = 350 m / 100 g); 1 pair quick knit needles size 3 mm (US 2.5).

Stockinette stitch (St st): Work RS rows K and WS rows P.

Garter st (gst): RS and WS rows K.

Accentuated decrease:

at beg of row after selv st work K1, skpo (slip 1 st kwise, K1, pass slipped stitch over); at end of row before selv st work K2tog, K1.

Gauge: 22 sts and 34 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back: 

Cast on 94 sts and work 3 cm in garter st. Then work 40 cm in St st.

Armhole Shaping: Using accentuated dec, at each end dec 1 st on every 2nd row.

Neckline Shaping: When armhole meas 14 cm from beg, bind off center 28 sts and complete both sides separately.

For rounding at inside edge bind off 1 st twice on every 2nd row.

Front: 

Work like back, but with deeper neckline.

When armhole meas 13 cm from beg, bind off center 30 sts and complete both sides separately.

For rounding at inside edge bind off sts as foll:

Rows 2-4: bind off 1 st 3 times. 

Row 5: no decs. 

Row 6: bind off 1 st. 

Row 7: no decs. 

Sleeves: 

Cast on 46 sts and work 3 cm in garter st. 

Then work 43 cm in St st.

Sleeve Shaping: Inc 1 stitch every 8th row at each end.

For sleeve opening, bind off sts as foll: 

Row 1: bind off center 8 sts and work both sides separately. 

Row 2: bind off 1 st at inside edge.

Row 3: 3 sts. 

Row 4: 1 st. 

Row 5: 2 sts. 

Rows 6-8: 1 st each. 

Rows 9, 11, 13: no decs. 

Rows 10, 12, 14: 1 st each. 

Rows 15, 16, 18, 19, 21, 22, 24 and 25: no decs. 

Rows 17, 20, 23, 26: 1 st each. 

Work in reverse for other side. 

For sleeve opening band, pick up 130 sts along armhole edge and work 3 cm in gst. Then dec sts as foll:

RS Rows 1-4: 2 sts tog every 12 sts. 

RS Row 5: 2 sts tog every 11 sts. 

RS Row 6: 2 sts tog every 10 sts. 

RS Row 7: 2 sts tog every 9 sts. 

Do not work decs on foll 2 RS rows. 

RS Row 3: 2 sts tog every 12 sts.

RS Row 4: no decs. 

RS Row 5: 2 sts tog every 12 sts.

RS Row 6: no decs.

RS Row 7: 2 sts tog every 12 sts. 

RS Row 8: no decs. 

RS Row 9: 2 sts tog every 12 sts. 

RS Row 10: no decs.

RS Row 11: 2 sts tog every 11 sts. 

RS Row 12: no decs.

RS Row 13: 2 sts tog every 10 sts. 

RS Row 14: no decs. 

Bind off sts. Work 2 sts tog every 9 sts. 

Finishing: 

Sew side and sleeve seams. Set in sleeves. 

For band, cast on 100 sts, work 3 cm in gst and bind off sts.

Sew band to neckline and sew back seam.
