Lace Stitch Knitting Pattern

How to knit Lace Stitch:

Work with multiple of 6 stitches + 2 edge stitches.

Cast on 14 sts (6 + 6 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows only Right Side rows.

On WS rows, purl all sts and yo's or work according to chart key.

The pat rep = 6 sts wide.

Repeat patt between edge stitches throughout.

yo: yarn over

yo2: 2 yarn overs. On WS rows, work first yo purl, second yo knit

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch

Row 1: edge st, * k1, k2tog, yo2, skpo, k1, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 3: edge st, * k2tog, yo, k2, yo, skpo, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 5: edge st, * k1, yo, skpo, k2tog, yo, k1, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 7: edge st, * yo, skpo, k2, k2tog, yo, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 9: work as for Row 5.

Row 11: work as for Row 3.

Repeat Rows 1-12 throughout.
